MPEG-2 transport streams can be sent over a number of different medium. Your choice of hardware depends on which service you wish to receive and also where you are located in the world. These are the medium standards TSReader supports: Card scanning mobile phones & portable devices driver download.

Input Sources
TSReader can process MPEG-2 transport streams in real time from the following interfaces. The piece of software that ties the hardware to TSReader is called the Source Module and you must select the appropriate module when you configure TSReader for the first time.

| Receivers like the Novra S75 DVB-S shown take the transport stream from the RF network and retransmit as multicast UDP packets on LANs. Note 1: Use of BBTI drivers version 4.4 are required for operation with TSReader.
Note 2: This card isn't fully functional yet in TSReader primarily because we either can't get a card or don't have that format of modulation available to test with. If you have one of these cards, please contact us - we'd like to work with owners to get TSReader debugged on these cards.
Note 3: This card has an eight PID maximum demux severely limiting it's performance in TSReader. Please see this note about cards with demultiplexers.
Note 4: This interface is supported using Microsoft Windows BDA drivers.
